If you're wondering if you should go to Opo, the answer is a respectful yes! I travelled through Decatur with friends for a weekend trip, and of the four coffee shops we went to, this was the best. The latte, chai, and americano are all delicious. The staff were some of the kindest people we met all weekend. The inside is beautiful and the bathroom was very clean. Its always a plus when they roast their own beans. I'm now waiting for a restock of their tee shirt in my size to order one from home! Can't wait to rep the brand! This place is a must try!

First thing I have to mention is how friendly the staff are here. I’m from out of town so this was a really nice way to start the day!! The shop is also super cute and spacious! The coffee was absolutely delicious and the biscuit breakfast sandwich also a hit. Thanks for being a bright spot in my morning!!!

OPO Coffee — What a gem of a coffee shop. The moment I walked in, I was welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality from the two baristas—exactly the kind of energy I appreciate. I believe this is a local spot, and it absolutely feels that way in the best sense. The space is thoughtfully designed—fresh flowers, well-placed seating, and a mix of styles that make it feel cozy without being cramped. It might seem small at first, but once inside, you realize it’s just the right amount of space. I ordered a latte, and it was spot on—smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. For a first visit, this place left a great impression. Huge shoutout to the team at OPO Coffee for not just serving up a great cup, but for making it feel personal. I’ll definitely be back—for the coffee and that human connection. Cheers, BN

There are a handful of coffee spots in Decatur, but Opo is by far my favorite. The staff there is so friendly and knowledgeable, and the coffee can’t be beat! I usually get either a vanilla cortado or their ube London fog (!!!), both of which are stellar. Their Second Breakfast blend is one of my favorite roasts to brew at home as well. Parking can be a bit tricky depending on the day, but there are usually spots on the side of the road a little ways down. The cafe itself is bright and cozy with plenty of seating inside, plus a spacious patio to boot! Lovely team of folks and delicious coffee in a beautiful space— what could be better?!

Our biking group Celebrated a birthday break ther And everyone was very accommodating. Coffee was great. People were most cordial and friendly. An atmosphere just perfect! will certainly return. Nice to have them in our neighborhood.

Went in for an iced coffee and was pleasantly surprised by all of the people enjoying the nice seating areas and relaxed atmosphere. Barista was super friendly and helped me with my selection. I will definitely stop by anytime I’m in Decatur!

Very cool cafe with an urban vibe. The wall plants make the space feel welcoming. Lots of room to spread out and chat with friends or do some work on the laptop. The staff are friendly and helpful. I got to speak with the owner and he showed me their training lab, which is super cool and unique for a local coffee roaster! Worth a visit if you’re in the area!

BEST TRAINING EVER!!! Opo uses SCA certified trainers and provides a hands on, high quality training experience. Very cool Coffee roasters and a great coffee cafe to hang out in. I love thee. This place is very popular they're actually wasn't a place for me to sit down on my first visit. They offer barista classes and coffee making classes from amateur to pro-level. Coffee was great I had a flat white!

Very tasty cortado and a super short wait time, despite there being a consistently long line to order! The baristas were friendly and didn’t make me feel rushed. I loved the decor and the overall vibe. It was absolutely packed on a Saturday at 10:30 and honestly didn’t start to slow down a little bit until 12, but even then, it was still quite full inside. Seating was varied but a bit challenging to find — thankfully a spot opened up as I finished ordering. The noise level was pretty loud inside with everyone talking but there were also many people studying, and I was still able to focus with headphones on. I saw people with kids, people chatting over coffee, and people reading or working on laptops. I’m looking forward to another visit! Side note: as long as you don’t mind walking a few minutes, there is plenty of free 2 hour street parking!
